I create my bird and wildlife paintings for markets and some work is available at Geographica (100 Elizabeth St., Hobart, Miss Bond Jewellery, Salamanca and my studio in Sandy Bay.) I do illustrations for anything that needs illustrating, children’s books are a favourite.

In 2021, ‘The Way of the Weedy Seadragon’ by Anne Morgan (CSIRO Publishing) and illustrated by me, won the Children’s Natural History Picture Book prize in the Whitley Awards from the Royal Zoological Society of NSW. It was also shortlisted in the CBCA, Environment Awards/Wilderness Society and the Crystal Kite awards.

I am currently enrolled in Margrete Lamond’s Pitch-Perfect Portfolio 6 month course, a look at the art and science of illustrating.

Art

I am inspired by the environment & surroundings on Bruny Island. Works in oil on linen and acrylic on canvas depict birdlife in Tasmania.
